Yea I'm back home and even though I'm on vacation I still find it tough to train. I still don't have that much free time so finding the time or the will to get out and run, or get down to McGill to lift since they closed the track isn't fun. I managed to get 4 days last week, so hopefully this week will be better. We'll see. At least I'm having fun with my friends and I'm not being stupid by partying too much.
Oh yea interesting thing is that I went to St-Lazare yesterday and had a bonfire outside with Silo, Cicilic and a whole bunch of friends from High School. Was pretty awesome. I'm trying to put the pictures up on my personal Blog but we'll have to see once I figure it all once I'm done with it. Check out facebook for more info on that.
More later,

2 Days off for sickness then McGill is closed
Hey, been enjoying my break at home except for the fact that I've been sick the last 2 days. I think it's cause I went out that Monday night after I wrote my last post and went for an hour in the freezing cold with a huge windchill. Also might be my house, it's really dusty and we got a new dog called Mya so I might not be adjusted to her yet.
So I took the last 2 days off, I know I shouldn't sometimes it happens. Whatever I got off my butt and took care of all my Passport stuff today, since I had a feeling it wouldn't get done it time and my mom bugging me to do it. Me and Cicilic went to the office, chilled downtown, then I went to the Track with Cicilic. I had a 5x1200m workout at 2:24-2:28 through the 800 for the 1200m. I was feeling good until my last one where my sickness/lack of fitness caught up and I couldn't finish it. I decided not to push and just relaxed. I hit my times for the 1st 4 repeats, so I was happpy.
I also taught Cicilic a bunch of exercises, we'll see how that goes with him, or if he'll continue doing them.
Maybe tomorrow I'll go lifting since the track is close, we'll see, more later,

It's been a while
Yea I know I've been kinda slacking on this blog but I'm not going to neglect it. I had 2 races recently, one on the 3rd and one on the 10th, and I did pretty good at both of them. I came 4th in the 3000m with a time of 9:11.XX, I was in 2nd most of the race then 2 guys came after me at the end.
The second day, the 10th, was the Patch Track Open at FDU (used to be a patch track, no so much anymore). We were supposed to run 2 races, the 4x800m then the 1000m right after to get in a good workout however it didn't go to plan and we only ran the 1000m. I was racing against a bunch of people, including 3 Kenyans and an NEC Champion/NCAA Finalist. I went toe to toe with the NEC Champion/Kenyan guy from FDU and I took the lead in the last lap, with 150m to go. Then we both sprinted with 100m and he got me by .1 seconds at the line so I came 2nd. Blast! Could've had him.
Now I'm on my winter break, might log my travels or track training here,
Alright off to relax.

First Indoor Meet Coming up!
Yep just relaxing tonight, big race tomorrow. Running the 3000m at the Indoor Track at Seton Hall, in South Orange, NJ. I dunno what to think, since it's my true senior year (last year didn't count since I had eligibility left) but I feel like I haven't accomplished what I set out to do before I even came to this school. I'm in some of the best shape of my life, it's about time I get it done. When I came here I think I could've easily been Northeast Conference Champion, maybe do well on the regional scene, or at least compete with the best. Injuries lack of fitness have taken their toll, but I think it's my time to shine. It all starts tomorrow, the first of 6 long months of hard training, fast competition, and long weekends.
Wish me luck and I'll give you guys the details tomorrow,

Brooks Big Boi Challenge and updates
Yea the week after conference I decided not to take it off and just run the Brooks Manhattan Big Boi Challenge. I don't remember what place I came in but I ran an average 27:39 and it wasn't a spectacular race. I think we were losing some focus after the long cross-country season that was tough because we had a lot of injuries and people who were ineligible.
Since then I've been resuming my training and getting my focus back. Things have been good and I'm happy. We run our first indoor race December 3rd so I'm gearing up for that.
Alright more later,

Didn't do so well
If you read my major blog you'll have found that I didn't do so well on my race this weekend. I came 25th when I was easily expecting a top 14 finish which would've put me as an All-Conference selection. Unfortunetly I was sick in the car ride before the race which gave me a stitch and prevented me from going as hard as I wanted. I ran as hard I as could with the pain, even pushed when I saw some people try to pass me, but overall I wasn't too pleased with how this went down. Oh well, at least I have Indoors and Outdoors, and I'm still quite fit, so who knows what will happen, lol.
Alright going out tonight to celebrate Igda's party, peace!

NEC Conference Championships Tomorrow!
Yea my big race is tomorrow. I'm psyched and ready to go. It's one of my last cross-country races where I can do really well so I'm expecting something nice here. I have the potential to easily be top 14 which is All-Conference so I'm going to go for it. It's at Van Courtland Park in the Bronx, NY, so it's just a short drive away. I hope I get some sleep, don't want to be too excited/nervous, lol. Wish me luck! I'll post results tomorrow.

Focus of this blog
I know I've started this blog to chronicle my sports, my travels and anything generally outdoor related by I'm wondering what direction should I take. I know I'm going to talk a lot about Track, since I love it, but should I talk a lot about places where I want to go, or sports and what's going on with that. I don't know. I think I'm going to slowly build this up with some track, then figure out what I want to do with it.
Anyone got any thoughts? Shout it out, don't be afraid.
